I've taken liberties with the common Asian take-out container, decorating each with gorgeous paper (some is washi), and with snippets of vintage fabric left over from my kimono collages. Some of the boxes have lovely glass beads or tiny silver ornaments attached to the raffia wrapped handles. You might be captivated by a striking schematic pattern or a particular vibrant color.
